Abstract
- Seborrheic keratosis is a common benign skin tumor originating from keratinocytes. In most instances, their etiology is unknown; however, there are independent risk factors such as genetic propensity, cumulative exposure to sunlight, human papillomavirus and epidermal growth factors. We report a case of seborrheic keratosis which occurred at the operation site 2 months postoperatively. This case may suggest that growth factors being induced by wound healing make a seborrheic keratosis on the operation site. To the best of our knowledge, this is a rare case of seborrheic keratosis on the operation site.
