Abstract
-
The risk of developing thyroid cancer after radiation exposure is well known, but specific modifiers
of the dose-response relationship are not. Because Hodgkin's lymphoma affects younger patients with
the potential for long-term survival, the subsequent development of thyroid neoplasia is a significant
consideration. We experienced two cases of thyroid cancer following radiation exposure for Hodgkin's
lymphoma, and we report our experience and present a review of the literature.
