Obesity Treatment for a 25-year-old Woman with Severe Scoliosis, Asthma, and Bronchiectasis

Abstract

Obesity is well known to induce or aggravate various chronic diseases and vise versa. This case report is about the clinical course of obesity treatment for an obese 25-year-old woman with recurrent pneumonia and asthma, bronchiectasis, and severe scoliosis. After the treatment, her physical fitness and pulmonary function improved and the frequency of asthma and pneumonia episodes decreased.
