The Medial Meniscal Cyst of Knee Joint: a Case Report

Abstract

A meniscal cyst is one cause of a knee joint line mass or bulge. Cysts of the medial meniscus are less common than those of the lateral meniscus. The cause and origin of this benign tumor still are poorly understood. We experienced a case of the cyst of the medial meniscus. We treated it by resection of the medial meniscus, and obtained good result.
