A Case of Independent Origin of Left Circumflex and Left Anterior Descending Arteries from Left Aortic Sinus
Abstract
- A patient was found to have independent origin of LAD and left circulmflex arteries on coronary arteriography. This kind of variation does not cause physioligic disturbance under usual circumstances. But its clinical importance lies on that it can pose difficulties in canulating these vessels during open aortic surgery or in performing coronary arteriography and it can be misinterpreted as occlusions.
