Abstract

Retroorbtal lymphoma is a rare disease. It is reported to be an indolent, usually stage I disease, showing low to intermediate-grade histology with good response to radiation without adjuvant chemotherapy. The authors experienced a case of bilaterally involved retroorbital non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 59-year-old male patient. He visited to our hospital because of initial development of exophthalmos in the right eye 5 years ago and subsequent development in the left eye 3 years ago. Histopathological examination from the retroorbital mass revealed mantle zone lymphoma. He was treated with six cycles of CHOP (cyclophosphamide, epirubicin, vincrstine, prednisolone), and complete remission was achieved.
