Abstract

Xeroderma pigmentosum is a rare autosomal recessive disease with photosensitivity, photo-phobia, early onset of freckling, and subsequent neoplastic changes on sun-exposed surface. A 6-year-old boy with xeroderma pigmentosum visited our hospital. 2 years ago, he had a squamous cell carcinoma on the left lower eyelid. At the first visit to us, two papules were developed on his right face, which were histologically basal cell carcinoma. He presented with a 0.5cm sized reddish dome shaped nodule with bleeding on the cheek. It was histologically granuloma pyogenicum.
