The Effects of Tissue Plasminogen Activator in Experimental Hyphema of White Rabbits

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to observe the resorption effect of the anterior chamber blood by introducing tissue plasminogen activator (tPA). The results were as follows: 1. Hyphema of the tPA injection group was cleared completely within six days under the slit lamp examination, while no injection group and saline injection group showed no complete erythrocyte resorption even up to 21 days (p<0.01). 2.
