A Case of Term Cesarean Delivery in Patient with Chronic Renal Failure
Abstract
- Pregnancy is an unusual event in patient with chronic renal failure under going hemodialysis. When it occurs, spontaneous abortion, still birth, and neonatal death end 75% to 80% of the pregnancies. The mother is at risk for hypertension and abruptio placenta. The fetus is at risk for prematurity and growth retardation. Successful term pregnancy and cesarean delivery of a patient with chronic renal failure is presented.
