A case of leiomyosarcoma of spermatic cord

Abstract
- Sarcomas of the spermatic cord are rare and highly malignant. Radical orchiectomy with early high ligation of cord is the treatment of choice for spermatic cord leiomyosarcoma. Owing to a strong tendency for local recurrence, spermatic cord leiomyosarcoma requires adjuvant therapy with chemotherapy. radiation therapy and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. We report a case of the leiomyosarcoma of the spermatic cord and review adjuvant therapy with radiation.
