Spontaneous Regression of Inflarmmatory Pseudotumor of the Liver by Conservative Therapy
Abstract
-
Inflammatary pseudotumor of the liver is a rare benign lesion that usually has been discovered at laparomy. It has been treated by hepatic resection. This lesion may mimic a malignant
neoplasm on imaging study. The histologic features of the lesion are characterized by a mixture of inflammatory cells in a stroma consisting of interlacing bundles of fibroblasts and collagenous tissue. We report a case of hepatic pseudotumor that was regressed by conservative therapy.
