Abstract

The red scrotum syndrome is characterized by persistent redness on the anterior half of the scrotum, usually accompanied by persistent itching or burning sensation and hyperalgesia. It is a chronic condition, which is resistant to treatments. Its cause is unknown. We report a case of a 59-year-old man with prolonged burning pain and erythema on the scrotum whose symptom was resistant to treatments.
