A Case of Spontaneous Short Term Interval New Developed Multiple Adjacent Osteoporotic Lumbar Compression Fracture after Kyphoplasty

Abstract

In recent, kyphoplasty is one of treatment of osteoporotic spinal compression fracture with pain relief, and have many advantage that recovery of spinal function, early ambulation, restoration of height fracture body and correction of spinal kyphotic angle. But, there are many problems, especially prevention and treatment on adjacent osteoporotic compression fracture after kyphoplasty cause controversy. The authors have experienced a case of 78-year-old male who present spontaneous short term interval new developed upper and lower segmental osteoporotic lumbar compression fracture after kyphoplasty.
