Abstract

Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the core clinical features of fluctuating consciousness, visual hallucination, and parkinsonism. A 78 year old man was visited for cognitive decline with gait disturbance. F-18 FP-CIT PET revealed decreased uptake at both striatums. Cerebrospinal fluid biomarker study showed decreased level of A42 and normal level of pTau. Hereby, we report a patient with DLB supported by cerebrospinal biomarkers and F-18 FP-CIT PET.
