Abstract

Although hibernomas are commonly found in soft tissues, spinal intraosseous hibernomas are extremely rare and 13 cases have been published from 2008 to 2019. While checking for metastatic lesions in a colorectal cancer patient, a spinal lesion found accidentally, thereafter biopsy and follow-up magnetic resonance imaging were performed. The authors present an intraosseous hibernoma of the spine, which is very rare.
