Roentgenogram of the ISSUE : A Large Cavity Associated with Diffuse Nodular Shadows

Abstract

Diffuse nodular shadows may be found in a great variety of conditions. But diagnostic possibilities may be much reduced partly by clinical findings and partly by radiological appearances. A moderately large ring shadow or cavity may also develop in a variety of conditions. Association of both conspicuous pulmonary abnormalities may coexist in certain conditions with much reduced diagnostic possibilities. A 69-year-old woman who developed these abnormalities was presented and differential diagnosis was discussed.
