The Tuberculosis Lesion in the Right Cardiophrenic Region

Abstract

Author’s Summary; 1. The author investigated 50 case of clinical patients with abnormal shadows in the cardiophrenic region of right side lung and found following results. 2. Although the abnormal shadows in this region had been frequently overlooked or simply thought to be non- tuberculosis pneumonia or bronchiectasis at most, when one observe the X-ray film with caution, the incidence of these abnormal shadows in the right cardiophrenic region were about 3.9% to 4. 7% among suposedly negative chest X- ray films. And about 20% of those cases showed positive on the sputum examination for tuberculosis. 3. On conclusion the author reemphasized that one must to pay more attention for the abnormal shadows in the right cardiophrenic region and always to do the sputum examination to rule out the possibility of tuberculosis origin.
