Abstract
- Lipoma is a very common benign tumor of the adipose tissue, but it occurs infrequently in the oral cavity. A 66-year-old man presented with an asymptomatic, solitary, 1×1-cm-sized yellowish mass on the lower lip, since 2 years. For differential diagnosis, skin biopsy was performed, and histopathologic examination showed features indicative of lipoma. We herein report a rare case of oral lipoma occurring on the lower lip.
