Abstract

Congenital multiple dislocation of joints is relatively rare deformity. Since its first description by Chatelain in 1822. many authors have been proposed. In this case, a two week postnatal female had marked hyperextension of the Rt. knee with jont motion limitation combined with various other anomalies as congenital dislocation of Rt. hip joint, talipes calcancovalgus deformity, and large sized omphalocele. Immediate manipulative reduction and immobilization was done for two months by progressively increasing the flexion of the knee at biweekly interval. An abduction type brace was applied to the dislocated hip. Results were relatively good according to X-ray finding and functional improvement was achieved.
