Macrodactyly: A Case of Report

Abstract

Macrodactyly is a rare congenital malformation characterized by an increase in the size of all the elements or structures of a digit or digits. The condition usually occur unilaterally and asymmetrically. The Authors has treated one case of markedly, grotesque, enlarged macrodactyly, which was treated with multiple defatting procedures and resection of a third metatarsal at tarso-metatarsal joint, and second and fourth toe amputation at level of neck portion of the middle phalanges. The purpose of this article is to report a macrodactyly which is very rare in review of previous literatures and an additional case along with review of previous literatures.
