Report of 2 Cases of So-Celled Pseudospondylolisthesis

Abstract

This is the report of 2 cases of so-called pseudospondylolisthesis and the references were reviewed. The patients were females over age of 5th decade. This condition occurred on the 4th lumbar vertebra and degenerative change was found in the apophyseal joints between 4th and 5th lumbar vertebrae. In the both cases, the disk of the 4th lumbar vertebral space has degenerated. The etiological factor seems to be anterior slipping of vertebral body due to degenerative change of the vertebral supporting tissues.
