RESULTS: The score for health promoting behavior in the middle-aged men was above the mean score, The highest dimension was self-actualization and the lowest dimension of health promoting behaviors was exercise. A significant negative correlation was found between health promoting behaviors and state anger in middle-aged men. But there was no significant correlation between health promoting behaviors and trait anger.
