Acute Pancreatitis caused by Hemobilia after Percutaneous Liver Biopsy
Abstract
- Acute pancreatitis associated with hemobilia has rarely
been reported. According to literature, there are two cases of acute
pancreatitis caused by hemobilia after percutaneous liver biopsy.
We report the case in 63-year-old woman. She presented with hemobilia
and acute biliary pancreatitis 5 days after liver biopsy. It was resolved
with biliary drainage procedure alone.
