Abstract

The authors present a case of huge intraventricular meningioma in a 45 year-old female located in the left lateral ventricle. Meningiomas occur only rarely in the ventricles of the brain. The diagnosis of choice is CT scanning to determine the site, size, density, and vascularity of the lesion. Surgical morbidity and motality are low despite the deep location of the lesion, and the prognosis is favorable. Literatures concerned were reviewed.
