Abstract
- Endoscopic treatments are being increasingly used for chronic pancreatitis. The most common indications for endoscopic treatment are pancreatic duct stones (requiring removal) and pancreatic duct stricture (requiring stenting). Endoscopic treatment is also widely indicated for drainage of pseudocyst and ceiliac plexus block/neurolysis. In this review, I discuss techniques, efficacy and complications of various endoscopic treatments for chronic pancreatitis.
