A Case of Intraabdominal Seminoma Developed in Cryptorchid Testis

Abstract

Incidence of testicular tumor is 1-2% in all male tumor. Cryptorchidism occurs in about 0.4% of men but the probability of a malignancy occurring in an undescended testis is about 30 to 50 times greater than in a normally descended testis. Intraabdominal seminoma is rarely reported in Korea, here we report a rare case of intraabdominal seminoma developed in cryptorchid testis of 43 years old male and relevant literature have been reviewed.
