Abstract

Three external quality assesment trials which composed of 6 control materials (4 chemical materials, 1 microscopic material, 1 hCG test materials) for interlaboratory quality control assesment in urinalysis were performed with 382 participants in the year of 1996. The survey results are summarized as follows: 1. In the survey of urinary sediments quality control with slide preparation specimen, the performance were comparatively good showing of 76.3% concordance. 2. In case of biochemical test, the acceptable ranges of ketone, bilirubin, specific gravity were made according to the strip by strip and the concordance rate were increased. 3. the percentage of using urinalysis analyzer was 77.9% and the partipants using Midtron and Uriscan model were increased. 4. In hCG test, 100% performance revealed and ELA method increased.
