Clinical Observation on Cystoscpic Removal of Lower Third Ureteral Stone Using Domina Stone Dislodger

Abstract

The cystoscopic manipulation was applied in 33 cases of lower one third ureteral stone who visited the Department of Urology Ewha Womans University Hospital during the period of 1 year from July 1st. 1977 to Aug. 31th , 1978, using dormia stone dislodger and following results were obtained. 1) In 19 cases, lower third ureteral stone was extracted successfully. 2) Among 19 cases, 14 lower third ureteral stone were extracted immediately and 5 lower third ureteral stone were delivered spontaneously after cystosopic manipulation. 3) In 8 cases, cystoscopic manipulation was fails. dormina stone dislodger could not by pass the stone. 4) The commonest size of stone extracted by Dormina stone dislodger was from 5mm to 7mm in size (8 Cases). 5) No specific complications were found during or after cystoscopic manipulation.
