Giant Lipoma of the Kidney

Abstract

Lipoma of the kidney is relatively uncommon, pathologically benign tumor, occurring more frequently in women and is characterized by insidious onset, by tremendous enlargement of the abdomen, symptoms arising from pressure on neighboring structures, by its tendency to malignant degeneration and recurrence after surgical removal, resulting in cachexia and death. A case of renal lipoma was found in 60 years old woman.
