Clinical and histopathological survey on scleroderma
Abstract
- Author analysed the clinical symptoms and signs, and the histopathological findings of selerodermatous patients of 22 cases, who visited to our department from August 1957 to Sept. 196l, and reviewed the recent literatures. I classified these cases into the folllowing according to the text book. A) Diffuse Scleroderma 2 cases B) Localized scleroderma or morphea 19 cases C) Acrosclerosis 1 case Morever, Author subdivided the localized sclerodermas into 3 types according to the morphological viewpoints as follows: (a) Linear scleroderma 2 cases (b) Widespread morphea 5 cases, (c) Guttate morphea 12cases Total 19cases. In addition to the above-mentioned observations, author observed the histopathological findings of biopsied sections.
