Abstract

Vasovagal syncope has been belived to account for the majority of syncope of unknown origin (SUO). Precipitating factors include pain, emotional stress, trauma, fatigue, blood loss, and prolonged motionless standing. These syncopes are consisted of sudden hypo- tension and bradycardia, associated with nausea, dizziness and sweating. We experienced a case of vasovagal syncope during suprascapular nerve block by local anesthetics in a 63-year-old female patient presented with adhesive capsulitis.
