Abstract

Cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita(CMTC), first described by Van Lohuizen in 1922, is a very rare congenital vascular anomaly characterized by persistent cutis marmorata, telangiectasia or phlebectasia. We experienced a case of CMTC in a one-day-old male infant with reticulated mottling of the skin on both lower extremities, trunk and buttock. The skin lesions showed remarkable spontaneous regression during the first 4 months of life.
