Abstract

Prosthetic restoration of the maxillary anterior teeth must address both esthetics and function, as these teeth are central to anterior guidance and phonetics. Conventional diagnostic wax-ups have limited ability to predict treatment outcomes because they insufficiently incorporate facial information and mandibular movement data. With advances in digital technology, intraoral and facial scanning systems, as well as mandibular motion tracking, facilitate the creation of a virtual patient, enabling more individualized and precise prosthetic restoration. This case report describes restoration of the maxillary central incisors using a digital workflow. By integrating intraoral and facial scans with mandibular motion records (Jaw Motion Analyzer), a diagnostic wax-up was designed that reflected the patient’s esthetic features and mandibular movement patterns. This digital approach provided predictable esthetic and functional results, demonstrating clinical advantages over conventional methods.
