Abstract

Tuberculous meningitis is slowly progressing and shows non-specific clinical manifestation, so it is impossible to distinguish from bacterial meningitis by clinical manifestation only. And drug fever is medication elicits pyrexial response that remits following its discontinuation and usually suspected when no other cause for the fever can be elucidated. Especially when it comes to drug fever induced by antibiotics or antituberculosis drugs, it is difficult to distinguish the cause between underlying infections and the medication itself. We report a case of a 74-year-old man who diagnosed as drug fever with tuberculous medication.
