Abstract

The frail elderly are individuals who have an increased high risk of injuries and overall health problems. For their health promotion and rehabilitation intervention, regular exercise and physical activity program has been suggested. Especially, aerobic exercise, resistance, balance/mobility, flexibility, relaxation/meditation and aquatic exercise training have been recommended. More importantly, a complex exercise program is more efficient than a single mode training program. At least 150 min per week of physical activity, daily or at least 5 days of week, have been recommended to improve their health.
