A Case of Conjunctival and Periorbital Hemorrhage Spontaneously Occurred in Clopidogrel-treated Patient

Abstract

Clopidogrel is widely used for secondary prevention of ischemic stroke. Hemorrhage is the most common major side-effect of the subsequent treatment to use clopidogrel. However amongst those who receive clopidogrel treaement, spontaneous conjunctival and periorbital hemorrhage are rare. The authors have experienced a case of a 75-years-old male patient who had received clopodigrel theraphy presented with spontaneous conjunctival and periorbital hemorrhage during workout.
