Physiological Factor Associated with Airplane Upset

Abstract

Loss of control in flight has been a contributing factor in aircraft accidents over the past few decades. Generally, airplane upset by inadequate recover develops full stall or loss of control. Currently, Aviation stakeholder is taking action to prevent and reduce upset accident. While any airplane meets upset, pilots experience different with sensory perception of normal flight aerodynamics. In fact, the body organ has a capacity of perception such as changed velocity a result of acceleration and the statue as bank angle. In the review, threat results from misperception how a human being perceives hanged attitude. Therefore, it is shown that flow how the pilot gets his/her attitude from the body organ. This review is very effective in the education to enhance upset training.
