Aneurysm of the Popliteal Artery Associated with Hereditary Multiple Exostoses: Case Report

Abstract

Osteochondromas are common lesions, but occasionally they present unusual problems. Rarely does an osteochondroma present a vascular problem. To date there have been 12 cases reported of popliteal artery aneurysm secondary to osteochondromas. This paper presents another case which we experienced at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. College of Medicine, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea.
