A Report of Infantile Cortical Hyperostosis Developed in Two Siblings
Abstract
- Infantile cortical hyperostosis which develops sporadically only in rarity is characterized with fever, irritability and subperiosteal new bone formation at one or more bones of extremity. Familial occurrence of the condition has been reported abroad but none yet in domestic references. Two cases of infantile cortical hyperostosis occurred in siblings have been experienced and are to be reported with review of references.
