- A left ventricular pseudoaneurysm develops as one of serious complications patients after myocardial infarction. A pseudoaneurysm has a relatively high risk of rupture and requires urgent surgical repair. Hereby we report a case of 59-year-old man presented with a huge, 7×5 cm sized left ventricular pseudoaneurysm after acute inferior myocardial infarction. The huge aneurysm was diagnosed by echocardiography and managed successfully by aneurysmectomy and endoaneurysmorrhaphy.
