Abstract

Sponetaneous rupture of intracranial dermoid or epidermoid and its radiologic findings including CT andmagnetic resonance (MR) imaging have been described, but to our knowledge, there has been no report of spontatneously ruptured intrasellar cyst demonstrated by CT and MR in the literature. We report a peculiar case ofintrasellar cyst with spontaneous rupture into subarachnoid space demonstrated by CT and MR imaging, with discussion of the differential diagnosis.
