The focus group interviews were conducted to 14 male nursing students who had experience clinical practice in delivery room. Five theme clusters were identified from thirteen themes and twenty four sub-themes. The five theme clusters were 1) cultural perception of gender role, 2) perceived reality of male nurse, 3) difficulty in approaching clients, 4) counter-educational environment, 5) insight and new perception.
