Abstract
- Korean hemorrhagic fever(KHF) is an acute febrile disease with high fever, hypotension, gastrointestinal symptom, hemorrhagic symptom and renal failure. In contrast to the common electrocardiographic patterns seen in KHF, such as cardiomyopathy, 1 degrees and 2 degrees AV block, atrial fibrillation, atrial enlargement and ventricular hypertrophy, the appearance of left bundle branch block(LBBB) is rare. An adult patient with KHF presented with normal EKG on admission, subsequently developed LBBB on first hospital day. LBBB pattern of the electrocardiogram reappeared on 3rd hospital day, and then disappeared. We experienced a rare case of KHF associated with LBBB. This case suggests that the LBBB can be associated with KHF.
