A Case of Nodular Cystic Fat Necrosis

Abstract
- Nodular cystic fat necrosis(NCFN), first described by Przyjemski and Schuster, is characterized clinically by solitary or multiple asymptomatic mobile subcutaneous nodules on the lower extremities of healthy adolescent boys or middle-aged women, and histologically by encapsulated fat necrosis. We report a case of NCFN with calcification and lipomembranous change in 37-year-old woman.
