Abstract
- BACKGROUND
Many cases of epidermal graft by autologous suction blister were performed as a therapeutic option for vitiligo. But, the location of the lesion is an important factor for operation efficacy, particularly in hairy areas or articular portions. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of autologous suction blister grafting between simple cases and complicated cases (hairy or articular areas). METHOD: Blisters were made by suction, and an epidermal sheet was grafted to the recipient site. Hairy recipient sites were pre-treated with chemical depilator before graft, and periarticular recipient sites were fixed with splints after graft. The efficacy was rated as excellent (repigmentation>75%), good (50%< repigmentation< or =75%), poor (10%
