Abstract

Clear cell basal cell carcinoma is an uncommon histologic type, which is characterized by various vacuoles filled with glycogen in a clear cell mass. Vacuoles often cause peripheral displacement of the nucleus. We report a case of clear cell basal cell carcinoma in an 81-year-old woman who had suffered from 0.5cmx0.5cm solitary hemorrhagic ulcerative nodule for 1 year. Surgical excision was done and no recurrences were found.
