Abstract

Neurofibroma is a benign nerve sheath tumor characterized by the proliferation of Schwann and perineurium-like cells as well as fibroblasts and cells of an intermediate type. Neurofibromas of the bladder occur infrequently. Here, we report a case of neurofiboma in the bladder of a 50-year-old man, who showed voiding difficulty and was treated with excision of the mass and a partial cystectomy.
