A Case of Emphysematous Pyelonephritis

Abstract
- Emphysematous pyelonephritis is an uncommon serious infection of kidney with parenchymal necrosis and spontaneous gas formation which generally occurs in patient with diabetes mellitus or urinary tract obstruction. We experienced a case of emphysematous pyelonephritis which occurred in 45 year-old diabetic woman and treated by surgical intervention.
