Abstract

Bowenoid papulosis is a popular dermatitis occurring primarily on the genitalia of young adults, almost all under the age of 40. Multiple small reddish brown papules are seen varing from 2mm to 10mm in size. that clinically appear to be benign, but histologically show features in common with squamous cell carcinoma in situ. The clinical diagnosis commonly, but erroneously, given to this entity include lichen planus, verruca vulgaris. condyloma accuminatum, granuloma annulare and nevocellular nevus. Herein we report a case of bowenoid papulosis in a 31-year-old male who underwent rebiopsy and review of clinical finding after diagnosis of penile squamous cell carcinoma.
