Giardia lamblia infestation occurs with ingestion of cysts and is followed by excystation to trophozoites in the small intestine of a host. Giardia lamblia infestation is usually asymtpomatic and may cause various gastrointestinal smptomes. Bilary giardiasis is rare. Choledocahl cyst with Giardia lamblia infestation and cholangitis is not reported.
